Contact
One address, and a person on the other end.
There is no ticket queue, no chatbot and no support tier. Doorman is small enough that whoever replies is the person who wrote the thing you are asking about.
The address
One person reads it. Expect a reply within a couple of days, and an honest answer rather than a fast one.
For anything about your data specifically — what is held, or a request to delete it — privacy@mydoorman.app goes to the same place but is easier to find later. The deleting your data page says what to include.
What to put in it
For anything behaving oddly, three things turn the first reply into an answer instead of a request for more information.
- The diagnostic summary from Settings. It carries your configuration and device compatibility only — never numbers, names or call history. It is the single most useful thing you can paste.
- What you expected, and what happened instead. "A call I was waiting for was held" is a different bug from "a call rang that shouldn't have."
- The reason the log gave. Every decision carries one, and it usually identifies the cause on its own.
What not to send
Please don't send the number that called you, or a screenshot with one in it. We don't want it and we have nowhere to put it. A company arguing that it reads nothing should not be collecting phone numbers by email, and the reason code tells us more than the number would.
How long it takes
There is no support guarantee to make, and inventing one would be the first dishonest sentence on this site. It is a small team. You will get a real answer rather than a fast one.
Press, security, or something legal
Same address, and say which in the subject line. If you have found a security problem, please tell us before you tell anyone else — we will not argue with you about whether it counts.
The list is the only thing to join right now.
